A Women's Constitution: Won for All?
Conversations on the constitutional status of Northern Ireland are flourishing. To date, the focus has been on implications for health, education, economics, and governance. The impacts of constitutional change on women’s and other marginalised lives are rarely considered. This online International Women’s Day event is an opportunity, open to all, to have a conversation about the following: what would a woman-friendly constitution look like? Would such a constitution be beneficial for other marginalised groups? How might it come about? Other questions are very welcome.
