The Annual Conference of the European Group of Public Administration (EGPA) takes place from September 11th-13th in Queen’s University Belfast.

the conference will greet 500 public administration scholars from around the world to the university under the theme “public administration across
borders.” it is preceded by a symposium for phd students from september 9th-10th. the local organising committee is composed of dr muiris maccarthaigh,
chair (happ); ciarán o’kelly (law), john coakley (happ) and mariannunziata liguori (qums).
egpa is “a regional group of the international institute of administrative sciences (iias)” that “supports the development of the iias and provides a major
contribution to the achievement of the mission of the institute: developing public administration and the public service worldwide.” the conference is run
through 22 permanent study groups on diverse themes such as performance and accountability in the public sector; law and public administration; strategic
management in governance; and quality and integrity of governance.
