G-IPTech Centre Inauguration
Join us for the launch of the Global Intellectual Property and Technology (G-IPTech) Centre at QUB School of Law. This engaging event aims to unite leading international scholars, QUB School of Law members, and university representatives to explore pressing issues relevant for building a sustainable algorithmic society, and establish a programmatic research agenda for the G-IPTech Centre. Featuring panels on globalization, sustainability, creative economy, and fundamental rights, the workshop fosters collaboration and idea exchange on key IP/IT legal challenges, such as current policy debate surrounding whether we should ban or temporarily halt LLMs and other similar AI technologies.
