This prestigious award was established in 2008 to recognise excellence in law teaching. The six finalists were selected from a strong pool of nominations. Each nomination was backed by at least two sponsors, and was accompanied by supporting statements from the candidate and their head of department to build up a full picture of each nominee.

This year’s winner will be announced at the Celebrating Law Teaching Conference in the spring. Prior to this, a delegation of judges will be visiting the six finalists to review their teaching as well as speaking to colleagues and students.
