Queen's University Belfast Celebrates New Leadership at The Journal of Corporate Law Studies
The Journal of Corporate Law Studies and Taylor and Francis are delighted to announce the appointment of Victoria Barnes, Joan Loughrey and Sally Wheeler as the new Editors-in-Chief from January 1 2025.
Victoria Barnes and Joan Loughrey are based at Queen’s University Belfast and so is the journal’s new editorial office. It can be reached on: editorjcls@qub.ac.uk
The Journal of Corporate Law Studies is the leading and most authoritative peer-reviewed journal in its field. It publishes research on corporate, securities and financial law, including commercial conflict of laws, insolvency and financial regulation. The journal has a global reach and appeal. It has an acceptance rate of 12%. The impact factor for 2023 is 1.2, which makes it a Q1 Impact Factor journal ranked in the top quartile.
The new Editors-in-Chief look to continue in the tradition of publishing excellent work in corporate law. They thank the outgoing editors, John Armour, Luca Enriques, Eilís Ferran, Jennifer Payne, Bobby Reddy and Felix Steffek, for their rigorous work in editing the journal. They now look to develop the next generation of corporate law scholars and scholarship from around the world. A call for a raft of editorial roles will follow shortly.
