At Queen’s University, Belfast we have a portfolio of qualifying law degrees (QLD) each tailored to suit the needs of individual applicants. The degrees vary in duration, intensity and level. We are happy to advise applicants as to which degree pathway is most suitable for them.
All of our graduate QLDs provide students with first class legal education in a School with an international reputation for excellence. A QLD from Queen’s University prepares students for the global and international environments in which they will be providing legal advice.

The LLB (Senior Status) is an accelerated two-year QLD for Northern Ireland, England and Wales, Canada and other jurisdictions.

Our facilities at Queen’s include a state-of-art Law building with superb teaching facilities, a moot court, study and wellbeing spaces. Queen’s has one of the most modern campuses in the UK, including the award winning McClay Library, one of the finest libraries in the world and home to 1.2 million volumes and over 2,000 reader places.

The International Student Support team is here to help you make the most of your experience as an international student. They provide advice and assistance to international students from the time you apply to the University, right through your studies with Queen's.
Their dedicated team provides professional advice in relation to visa and immigration matters including applying for your visa to come to the UK and assisting you with any queries you may have.
LAW SENIOR STATUS EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
The Law Senior Status Excellence Scholarship is offered on a yearly basis. It is a £1500 scholarship which is open to all offer holders for the Law Senior Status programme

Queen’s is a great university campus. There’s lots of good food places within walking distance. Belfast is a fantastic city with so much history to learn about and see. It’s cheaper to live here than it is in to live in London. Europe is so accessible from here, I can fly to Paris for £30. I have been to over 10 countries in Europe since I came here. Matthew
