Dr Sarah Zarmsky speaks at event in Berlin alongside UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, and Founder of Forensic Architecture, Eyal Weizman

Dr Sarah Zarmsky, Lecturer at QUB School of Law, presented her research at the ESIL Law and Technology Interest Group Workshop on 10 September at Freie Universität Berlin titled 'Forensic and Counter-Forensic Approaches to Reconstructing International Law – A Cartography and Anatomy of Genocide'.
This event featured keynote speakers Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and Eyal Weizman, Founder of Forensic Architecture. Dr Zarmsky presented her work with co-author Dr Sabina Garahan (University of Essex) on the use of open source information for accountability for violations committed in detention in the context of the genocide in Gaza.
